What should I do if I'm expecting a surge or spike in traffic?

If you are anticipating a rise in traffic during a specific time (e.g., flash crowds), you should inform us so the spike will not be mitigated as an attack. If you believe there’s a threat or attack, make sure to change the DNS record so that the traffic passes through Nexusguard. Collect as much information as possible for our investigation (e.g., expected time and target IP or domain). Upon receiving your inquiry, we will work to determine if the traffic surge is a real threat or attack.
